CAE — Certified Agentic Engineer™ is AEI’s core technical certification for professionals building production-grade agentic systems. It validates hands-on engineering capability across the Agentic Stack, with emphasis on correctness, reliability, and trust at runtime.

The certification confirms that a CAE can design and implement cognition loops; manage memory, context, and orchestration; configure runtime guardrails and trust controls; and apply AEI best practices to real-world engineering challenges. The focus is not theoretical knowledge, but implementation-ready engineering judgment.

CAE is designed for software engineers, ML/AI engineers, and technical practitioners working on applied-intelligence systems. No prior industry experience is required. Mastery is demonstrated through required training and a scenario-based exam that reflects real production work.
